If selected, applicants will receive an email offering *Conditional Acceptance into the ASN program by March 31st.

*This application period is open for the Summer of 2025 cohort (Accelerated) and the Fall of 2025 Cohort (Traditional). For the Traditional program, you must have an overall GPA of 2.5 and a 63.3 composite score on the ATI TEAS. For the Accelerated program, you must have an overall GPS of 3.0 and a 70.0 composite score on the ATI TEAS test.

*Conditional Acceptance – means the applicant is offered a seat in the ASN program as long as all requirements for admission are met by the deadline provided in your acceptance email. Please visit the ASN Program website linked above for more information.

NURSING PRE-ORIENTATION POST-TEST

Before applying to the BRCTC ASN Program, it is required that you watch the Nursing Program Pre-Orientation and take the post-test available via the following link (also formerly available on Blackboard+):

- May 16, 2025: Clinical Documentation Due-Summer 2025 Cohort
- August 1, 2025: Clinical Documentation Due-Fall 2025 Cohort
- May 19,2025: Nursing Boot Camp-Summer 2025 Cohort
- August 11 & 12, 2025: Nursing Boot Camp-Fall 2025 Cohort

ATI TEAS EXAMPLE REPORT & TEST SCORES

In order to insure that we recieve the correct information, below is a copy of the ATI TEAS that is needed when submitting your application. In order to be considered for acceptance, you must have a ATI TEAS transcript showing a minimum composite score of 63.3 (for Traditional) and 70.0 (for Accelerated).
I attest that I have taken the ATI TEAS exam and received a composite score of 63.3 (for Traditional) and 70.0 (for Accelerated) or higher. I have also verified that I have uploaded my most up to date ATI TEAS exam report with my documentation on this application. This must be submitted at the time of your application, if it is not, we will not be able to accept your application.

I attest that I am willing and able to meet other program requirements, including standard vaccination/PPD requirements for healthcare workers, criminal background check, urine drug screen, physical exam, and any other requirements outlined by the ASN Program upon offer of acceptance. I understand that the COVID-19 vaccination is not currently required by ASN clinical partners but that requirements may change at any time.
I attest that I have read and understand the following policy regarding self-reported criminal history: A criminal background check is conducted upon conditional acceptance into the ASN Program. Failure to report any conviction on this application will result in automatic disqualification for admission. The nursing faculty may disqualify any nursing candidate based on the type of criminal offense, regardless of the length of time since conviction. Admission may be denied depending on the nature of the conviction. A letter from the WV RN Board "To Potential Nursing Applicants" concerning criminal findings and licensure can be found online at wvrnboard.wv.gov.
I attest that I will disclose any physical, mental, and/or emotional health problems that would prevent me from adhering to the ASN Program’s Core Performance Standards and Standards of Professional Conduct and Safe Clinical Practice (located in the ASN Program Student Handbook - available online at blueridgectc.edu/nursing).
